Monsters University | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Christy Lemire ChristyLemire.com It is essentially Revenge of the Nerds, with fur. And scales. And whatever gooey, gelatinous substance comprises the outer coating of various other oddball creatures in this crazy parallel world. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 8, 2013 Full Review Monsters University | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Wesley Morris Grantland Studios don't often seem to be thinking about the ideal moviegoer, just about the maximum number of moviegoers ... Pixar is no different in that regard, but even in this relatively fallow period ... it's never stopped thinking the most of us. Rated: A- Jul 26, 2013 Full Review Monsters University | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Charlotte O'Sullivan London Evening Standard So many movies, these days, are about nerds and their market value. Dan Scanlon's prequel is the newest, but already feels old. Rated: 3/5 Jul 12, 2013 Full Review Monsters University | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) A criminally underrated prequel that was better than it had any right to be, Monsters University is far more than a stellar college comedy with monsters learning how to scare humans. Mar 1, 2024 Full Review Monsters University | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Although not wholly original or as monumental as some of Pixar’s other work, it’s a film that embraces the studio’s drive for timeless, universally appealing animation. Rated: 3.5/4 Sep 2, 2022 Full Review Monsters University | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Lacks the substantial level of unbridled creativity and emotional punch found in its predecessor. Chael B An underrated masterpeice! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Avery K This is my favorite Pixar movie and love the animation and the jokes they throw in there. And art has some confessions to make😂 Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/14/24 Full Review William O I loved this movie. Watched it all the time when I was kid and I still do all grown up. I remember I was obsessed with the scare cards and I wanted to own them real life. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie is amazing, I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid❤️ Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/24 Full Review Dewey l Most people didn’t write that this movie is for teens. I was stunned the first time I watched at 13 y.o. After all, “efforts come to nothing” wasn’t the usual movie ending . The script perfectly captures the concepts of “hard work is nothing compared to talent” and “it is not talent but choice that makes a person”. During the growth process when we have been brainwashed by "hard work", only this movie can tell this truth. The reality is that even working so hard, still probably won't get what u want ,while the reality is also that even if the process doesn't go according to plan, mustn’t mean u won't get the results you want. It was my favorite movie when I was 17 y.o , and I felt very moved after experiencing the whole period. Doesn't matter if failing in the exam or dropping out ,turn on YouTube and learn something. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/18/24 Full Review Ryland C Better than the first movie because of the universe expansion! The new characters are great, and the idea of a monster college is a great idea! I just love how there’s a certain science to scaring and how’s monsters can be scary in their own special way. That’s really creative and clever! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review Read all reviews
