How do I check my OTC benefits? ›

You may check check the balance on your OTC benefit card by calling the number on the back of your card or signing in to your OTC plan provider's online member portal.

Redeem your benefit at any register by giving your name and date of birth to a store colleague at a register. Non-OTCHS members: You may use your Benefit Network Card to pay for your benefits in a store. Your health plan may mail your card to you with other welcome materials.

Your OTC benefit can be utilized once a month or once a quarter, not to exceed your benefit's allowance. A Member will not be allowed to place multiple orders during a monthly or quarterly benefit period.

For some Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans, the OTC card can be swiped as a form of payment or used on phone and online orders. Just use it like any prepaid card, with no PIN (personal identification number) or signature required.

Use your $25 a month to get items like baby wipes, allergy products, pain relief medicine and more. You can also get everyday items like laundry detergent, soap and toothbrushes.

Approved items include fruits & vegetables, meats, dairy & more.

OTC withdrawals are available up to the daily withdrawal authorization limits, provided the Available Balance in your account is greater than or equal to the cash withdrawal amount requested.

OTC items are not eligible for reimbursem*nt if they are normally used for general health, are not used to treat a medical condition (e.g. toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, shampoo) or are cosmetic in nature (e.g. teeth whitening products, wrinkle reducers). See additional examples in the OTC Chart.

CDPHP Individual Medicare Advantage members get a prepaid benefits card with up to $100 per quarter to spend on over-the-counter (OTC) supplies at thousands of retail locations.

Items that do not qualify include non-food and pet items, alcohol, baby formula, candy, chips, coffee shop items, desserts, fresh baked goods, soda, and tobacco.

What is covered under the OTC card? ›

Use your OTC Plus card to pay for non-prescription drugs, health-related items, fitness equipment and activity trackers, healthy foods, and home utilities such as gas, oil, electric, water, and internet service. Save at your neighborhood pharmacy, farmers' markets, online, and other participating retailers.

Your OTC benefit helps you save money on a wide range of over-the-counter health and wellness products. You can use your benefit amount to purchase products such as pain relief, first aid, cold and allergy medicine, dental care items and more. Check your OTC catalog for the list of items covered by your benefit.

You can also ask for cash back. Use a HigherOne ATM to withdraw funds. $500 withdrawal limit per day.

You can use your card to buy things like: Food and fresh groceries, like meat, vegetables, and canned goods. Everyday items, like toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant and shaving cream. Household goods, like laundry detergent, paper towels and tissues.
