32 Low Carb Soups (Egg Drop Recipe + MORE!)

Ingredients

  • 32 oz chicken broth (4 cups)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon tamari or coconut aminos
  • 3 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 green onions
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • optional- red pepper flakes, sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken broth, tamari or coconut aminos, ginger, sesame oil, and garlic salt to a medium pot. Heat on medium-high until the broth starts to come to a boil. Turn the soup down to low and simmer.
  2. Beat the eggs in a small bowl.
  3. While constantly stirring the broth mixture, slowly stir in the eggs in one direction to create the egg “ribbons.”
  4. Add the sliced green onion to the pot, season with salt and pepper if desired. Enjoy!

  • Make it spicy- Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or sriracha sauce.
